ENERGY RENOVATION OF PRODUCTION-INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES MAR-MAR Ltd.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The company Mar Mar Ltd., as an energy cost unit aiming to improve energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy sources in manufacturing industries, will implement 7 energy renovation measures. This will involve the reconstruction of heating/cooling systems and hot water preparation, the construction of a solar power plant for internal use on the roof of the existing building, replacement of existing, less energy-efficient lighting, and replacement of existing machinery with more energy-efficient ones.
PROJECT GOALS AND EXPECTED RESULTS:
Upon completion of the project and commissioning of the new installations and equipment, energy consumption, specifically electricity consumption, will be reduced. The reduction is attributed to the implementation of energy efficiency measures. Additionally, there will be an increase in energy production from renewable sources, resulting in savings in the production facility and building.
The implementation of the 7 measures will lead to the achievement of the project goal, namely a total reduction of energy in the energy cost unit by 509,720.51 kWh/year or 67.13%. There will also be an increase in energy obtained from renewable sources by 411,584.46 kWh/year. The overall reduction in CO2 emissions after implementing all energy renovation measures of the project unit is 162.2433 tCO2/year.
